Collaborate with the English department to design extracurricular programs like literary clubs, debates, and cultural events. Prepare and update lesson materials, including worksheets, audio-visual aids, and digital resources to enhance learning outcomes.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a focus on English. Possess a valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate, though not mandatory for this role. Ensure fluency in English with proficiency in both spoken and written forms. Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabi for English is a plus.
Experience
Prove at least two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably with a focus on English language instruction. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is beneficial. Familiarity with digital learning tools and classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000. This position is a full-time commitment with Doon Global School, located in the scenic city of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
