Sandal Wood School in Dehradun seeks a dedicated Non-Teaching Staff (NTT) Mathematics Teacher to join its team and inspire students with a passion for the subject. This role focuses on delivering engaging, hands-on mathematics lessons across the school curriculum while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The teacher will work closely with students to build confidence in algebra, geometry, calculus, and applied mathematics, ensuring a strong foundation in core concepts.
The teacher will prepare lesson plans, conduct interactive classes, and use modern teaching methods to cater to diverse learning levels. They will also assist in organizing extracurricular activities like math competitions, robotics clubs, or STEM workshops to encourage curiosity and innovation. Collaboration with other faculty members will help align teaching strategies with school-wide academic goals.
Qualified candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and have at least two years of teaching experience in mathematics. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. A strong command of the English language and familiarity with digital teaching tools will be beneficial.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, along with Dehradun’s scenic location and a supportive educational environment. The role is based in the school’s main campus in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
