Role Summary
As a PROFESSOR of Agricultural Engineering at Tulas Institute, a leading university in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, you will be responsible for imparting quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students. What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate courses such as Farm Power and Machinery, Irrigation Engineering, and Soil and Water Conservation to students of B.Tech and B.E. in Agricultural Engineering.
- Conduct lectures and tutorials for postgraduate courses like Soil and Water Engineering, Irrigation Management, and Drainage Engineering for students of M.Tech and M.E. in Agricultural Engineering.
- Guide students in research projects and develop curriculum for new courses as per industry and research trends.
- Participate in departmental and university-level meetings to discuss academic and research matters.
- Foster industry-academia partnerships to provide internships and placement opportunities to students.
- Develop and submit research proposals to funding agencies and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new teaching methods and technologies.
- Conduct academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of the Department.

PG Class Profile
As a PROFESSOR at Tulas Institute, you will be responsible for mentoring students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees in Agricultural Engineering. You will guide them in conducting research projects, developing curricula, and publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals. The university has a strong research culture, and the candidate is expected to contribute to this culture by developing and submitting research proposals to funding agencies.

Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks is mandatory. Candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET or SLET exam in Agricultural Engineering discipline are also eligible to apply. The candidate should have at least 6 years of teaching experience and a strong research background with publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Learning and Development

Salary and Benefits
The appointed PROFESSOR will receive a salary of Rs. 70,000 - Rs. 120,000 per month along with other allowances as per UGC norms.
