Key Responsibilities
As a PROFESSOR Agronomy, your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and mentoring students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including developing and delivering courses on Agronomy and related subjects.
- Advising students on academic and career-related matters, providing guidance on research projects and assisting in their professional development.
- Participating in academic administration, including curriculum development, research supervision, and contributing to departmental and institutional committees.
- Conducting research in Agronomy and related areas, publishing papers in reputable journals, and presenting papers at national and international conferences.
- Collaborating with colleagues from other departments and institutions to develop interdisciplinary research projects and programs.
- Participating in academic and research collaborations with national and international institutions, including partnerships and joint research projects.
- Serving as a resource person for industry and government organizations on Agronomy-related matters.
- Participating in departmental and institutional administrative tasks, including committee work, academic planning, and budgeting.
- Developing and implementing new courses, programs, and research initiatives in Agronomy and related areas.

- A Ph.D. degree in Agronomy or a related field from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 6 years of teaching and research experience in Agronomy or a related field.
- A strong track record of research publications and presentations in national and international forums.
