What You Will Do
Teach core and elective courses in Algorithms, Data Structures, and Computational Complexity at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Mentor students through project guidance, internship placements, and career counseling sessions. Serve on academic committees, including curriculum design, admissions, and faculty recruitment.
Develop and publish research papers in reputed journals on algorithms, optimization, and related domains. Supervise PhD scholars and guide their dissertation work to timely completion. Collaborate with industry partners on applied research projects relevant to Dehradun’s growing IT and data science sectors.
Organize and conduct seminars, hackathons, and algorithmic challenges to foster student engagement. Participate in university-wide initiatives such as AI labs, cybersecurity cells, and data analytics hubs. Contribute to grant proposals and secure external funding for departmental projects.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from a recognized university. Candidates with a strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals will be preferred. Industry experience in software development, algorithm design, or data engineering is highly desirable.
Teaching experience of at least six years at the university level is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with algorithmic libraries is expected. Candidates familiar with UGC norms and NAAC accreditation processes will have an added advantage.
