Role Summary
Tulas Institute invites applications for the position of PROFESSOR in the Department of Dairy Science. The incumbent will be responsible for teaching, research, and guiding students in dairy science courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dairy science, including curriculum development and delivery.
- Conduct research in dairy science and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and provide academic guidance.
- Participate in departmental and university committees as required.
- Develop and maintain industry partnerships and collaborations.
- Supervise laboratory work and student projects.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the university.
PG Class Profile
The incumbent will be responsible for teaching master level courses, including dairy products technology, dairy microbiology, and dairy nutrition. They will also guide students in their research projects and provide academic guidance.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Dairy Science or related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification or equivalent as per UGC norms if PhD not completed.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in dairy science.
- Experience in teaching and research in dairy science.
