Contribute to institutional governance by serving on academic committees, including Board of Studies and Research Advisory Councils. Mentor junior faculty and coordinate departmental seminars and workshops.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. Post-doctoral research or industry experience in environmental monitoring and assessment will be given preference.
UGC-NET with JRF qualification is required for candidates without a Ph.D. However, NET-qualified candidates must complete their doctoral degree within three years of appointment as per UGC norms.
Minimum six years of teaching and research experience at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent in a university or reputed research institution. Experience in securing external funding from agencies like DST, MoEFCC, or UGC is desirable.
Strong publication record in high-impact journals with at least ten research papers in the last five years. Evidence of guiding M.Phil. or Ph.D. students is essential for this role.
