Key Responsibilities
As a PROFESSOR of Horticulture, your key responsibilities will include:
* Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in Horticulture courses
* Developing and implementing curriculum for Horticulture programs
* Advising students on academic and research projects
* Conducting research in Horticulture and publishing papers in international journals
* Participating in academic administration, such as departmental meetings and committees
* Collaborating with industry partners and other universities on research and academic projects
* Developing and managing research grants and projects
* Mentoring and guiding junior faculty members and research scholars
* Participating in faculty development programs and workshops
Eligibility Criteria
We invite applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals for the post of PROFESSOR of Horticulture. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Horticulture from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and a strong track record of research and publication. UGC norms will apply for the selection of candidates.
