About This Role
Tulas Institute, a leading University in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, invites applications for the position of PROFESSOR - Nanotechnology. As a key member of the academic faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and research in the field of Nanotechnology.
What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Nanotechnology, including lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Develop and implement new curriculum and syllabus for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Nanotechnology.
- Conduct research in Nanotechnology and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and thesis preparation.
- Supervise and mentor students in laboratory experiments and research projects.
- Design and deliver online courses and educational resources for students.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop new courses and programs.
- Participate in academic and administrative committees of the University.
Postgraduate Students
- Guide and mentor postgraduate students in their research projects and thesis preparation.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to postgraduate students on their research progress.
- Collaborate with postgraduate students in laboratory experiments and research projects.
- Assist postgraduate students in preparing and submitting research papers for publication.
- Participate in postgraduate student evaluations and provide feedback on their performance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Nanotechnology or related field with minimum 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualified or Ph.D. with at least 55% marks.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Nanotechnology.
- At least 6 years of teaching experience in a University or College.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
