Day-to-Day Duties
As a PROFESSOR of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching pharmaceutical chemistry courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conducting research in pharmaceutical chemistry and publishing papers in reputable journals
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback
- Participating in departmental and institutional committees
- Collaborating with other faculty members on research projects and publications
- Maintaining a strong research profile and securing research grants
- Engaging in academic and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from a recognized university. A postdoctoral research experience will be preferred. Candidates who have cleared UGC-NET with JRF or SLET exams are also eligible to apply. The ideal candidate should have a strong research background and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

The salary for this position will be Rs.70,000 - Rs.120,000 per month, as per UGC norms.
