Day-to-Day Duties
Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pharmacology, including specialized courses in clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and drug interactions. Supervising M.Pharm and Ph.D. scholars, guiding their research projects, and ensuring timely completion of theses. Participating in academic administration, such as curriculum development, board of studies meetings, and examination evaluation processes.
Overseeing the maintenance and upgrading of laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with NMC/MCI and institutional guidelines. Collaborating with industry partners for internships, joint research projects, and consultancy assignments. Organizing seminars, webinars, and workshops on emerging trends in Pharmacology. Serving as a member of institutional committees related to research, ethics, and academic quality. Contributing to institutional social responsibility initiatives through health awareness programs and community engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Pharmacology or a related discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. A minimum of 6 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level, preferably in a university or reputed pharmaceutical institution. NET/SLET qualified candidates with exceptional academic and research credentials may also be considered if Ph.D. is not completed. Industry experience in drug development, clinical research, or regulatory affairs is highly desirable.
