What You Will Do
* Teach software engineering courses to undergraduate and graduate students, including programming languages, algorithms, and software design patterns.
* Advise students on academic and professional matters, including course selection, research projects, and career development.
* Develop and implement new curriculum and course materials, including syllabi, textbooks, and lab manuals.
* Conduct research in software engineering, with a focus on industry-relevant topics, and publish papers in top-tier conferences and journals.
* Collaborate with industry partners to develop new software products and solutions, and provide consulting services to local businesses.
* Participate in academic administration, including serving on departmental and university committees, and contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
* Mentor junior faculty members and support their research and teaching activities.
* Participate in international collaborations and conferences, and bring back new ideas and best practices to Tulas Institute.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Ph.D. in Software Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. Industry experience in software development, consulting, or research is highly preferred. You should have a strong research and teaching record, with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse students, faculty, and industry partners.
