Role Summary
Tulas Institute, a premier university in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, invites applications for the post of PROFESSOR - Supply Chain Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and guiding students in the Department of Management Studies.
What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation Management, International Trade and Business, and other related subjects.
- Develop and deliver course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assignments, to meet the needs of students.
- Conduct research in Supply Chain Management and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and provide mentorship.
- Participate in curriculum development and review.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences in the field of Supply Chain Management.
- Foster relationships with industry partners and promote collaborative research and projects.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the university.
- Contribute to the development of the Department of Management Studies and the university.
Master Level Teaching
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching master level courses in Supply Chain Management, including courses on supply chain strategy, logistics and transportation management, supply chain analytics, and other related subjects. He/She will also guide postgraduate students in their research projects and provide mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC NET/SLET qualification or Ph.D. with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Supply Chain Management.
- Industry experience in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Learning and Development
The university follows the UGC regulations for promotion and career advancement. The selected candidate will be eligible for promotion to the post of Associate Professor after a minimum of 6 years of service and satisfying the API score requirements as per UGC norms.
