TGT Biology Teacher Responsibilities at Sneha Doon Academy
You will teach Biology to students in Classes 9 to 12, covering syllabi aligned with CBSE and Uttarakhand Board standards. Your lessons must integrate practical experiments, field trips, and interactive discussions to enhance understanding of cellular biology, genetics, ecology, and human physiology.
Daily lesson planning and preparation will focus on engaging students with hands-on activities, such as dissections, lab work, and case studies. You will also assess progress through written exams, projects, and continuous evaluation to track individual and class performance.
Your role includes maintaining a well-equipped biology lab, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing guidance on lab-based experiments. You will also mentor students in scientific projects and competitions, fostering a curiosity-driven learning environment.
Eligibility and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in Biology at the secondary or higher secondary level is mandatory. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Salary and Employment Details
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.34,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
