Job Opportunity for TGT Physical Education Teacher at Sandal Wood School
Sandal Wood School in Dehradun seeks a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to lead sports and fitness programs for students. This role focuses on developing active, healthy lifestyles while ensuring structured athletic training and extracurricular activities.
Core Responsibilities
Plan and conduct physical education classes, including drills, games, and team sports. Design age-appropriate workout routines and fitness challenges aligned with school curriculum standards. Supervise outdoor sports like cricket, football, and athletics to maintain safety and fair play.
Additional Duties
Collaborate with the school’s wellness committee to organize health awareness campaigns. Assist in organizing inter-house sports events and track student participation records. Occasionally, support coaching for junior teams or school tournaments.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.19,000 to Rs.35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is full-time, based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
