Spring Field School in Haridwar seeks a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join its team and inspire students with engaging lessons in history, geography, and political science. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Social Science lessons across grades, ensuring age-appropriate learning outcomes. You will prepare engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Classroom management will be a priority, fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Daily classroom instruction includes explaining historical events, analyzing geographical concepts, and discussing current affairs to build critical thinking skills. Assessments will be designed to evaluate understanding through projects, discussions, and quizzes. Collaboration with colleagues will help refine teaching strategies and share best practices.
Field trips and extracurricular activities related to Social Science will be organized to enhance students’ understanding of real-world applications. Parent-teacher interactions will be conducted regularly to address concerns and celebrate student progress. Attendance at school events and workshops will ensure alignment with educational policies and best practices.
Maintaining a clean, organized classroom space and adhering to safety protocols is essential. Documentation of student performance and attendance will be handled promptly. The role also involves supporting special needs students through differentiated instruction when required.
To qualify, a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in Social Science or related subjects is preferred. The salary package for this position is Rs.12,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, with the opportunity to work full-time in Haridwar.
