Who You Will Teach
The role involves teaching Physical Education to students from Classes VI to X. These young learners are developing lifelong attitudes toward fitness, sportsmanship, and personal well-being.
What You Will Do
Plan and conduct daily physical education sessions that include games, drills, and fitness activities tailored to age groups.
Organize inter-house and inter-school sports events, ensuring full participation and sportsman spirit.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and health checks during PE classes.
Promote inclusivity by adapting activities for students with varying abilities and fitness levels.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate physical activity into school life.
Coordinate with the school’s sports coordinator on equipment, venue bookings, and safety protocols.
Encourage healthy habits through regular assemblies and awareness sessions on nutrition and exercise.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a Physical Education Teacher Vacancy in Haridwar or similar setting is required.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of Indian and international sports curriculum for middle and secondary grades.
Ability to manage large groups outdoors and indoors with confidence and control.
Familiarity with local sports culture in Uttarakhand to make lessons engaging and relevant.
