Job Summary
Unicus Academy | Kotdwar invites applications for a full‑time TGT History Teacher. The role focuses on delivering engaging history lessons to classes 6–10 in Kotdwara, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with the state curriculum for history.
- Use varied teaching methods, including visual aids, debates, and project work, to enhance student understanding.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and periodic tests, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in school meetings, teacher training sessions, and community outreach events.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report student performance to school administration.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in History or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong command of Hindi and English, with ability to explain complex historical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated commitment to student learning and classroom management.
Salary
Rs.22,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
