Develop interactive teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring students grasp concepts like climate zones, natural resources, and sustainable development. Collaborate with the geography department to design project-based learning activities, field trips, and research-based assignments that enhance practical understanding. Maintain updated lesson plans, assessment tools, and student progress records while adhering to Stone Ridge International School’s academic standards. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, curriculum updates, and student performance trends.
Qualification
A postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for this teaching position. While TET/CTET certificates are not strictly required, having them will be an advantage. Experience in teaching geography at the secondary level is highly valued.
Experience
Candidates with at least two years of teaching experience in geography or a related subject are preferred. Familiarity with modern teaching techniques, educational technology, and inclusive classroom practices is beneficial. A background in guiding students through geographical explorations, field studies, or environmental science projects would be advantageous.
Salary and Employment Type
