Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Teach Science subjects—Physics, Chemistry, and Biology—to students in Classes 9 to 12 at Faithful Steward School. Prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with the West Bengal curriculum, ensuring clarity and relevance for diverse learning levels.
Deliver interactive and practical sessions, including lab demonstrations, experiments, and hands-on activities, to foster scientific understanding and problem-solving skills. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance in Science-related assessments.
Collaborate with the Science faculty and senior management to refine teaching strategies, share best practices, and support continuous improvement in Science education. Ensure all classroom activities adhere to safety protocols and school policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Science with a specialization in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per Indian teaching qualifications.
Minimum one year of teaching experience in Science at the secondary level or equivalent. A Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
