Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects, including history, geography, and civics, to students in classes 9 to 12 at Faithful Steward School. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the West Bengal curriculum while ensuring clarity and relevance to students’ learning needs.
Deliver interactive classroom sessions using visual aids, discussions, and real-world examples to enhance understanding of key concepts. Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Prepare and maintain subject-specific resources, such as worksheets, maps, and reference materials, to support teaching and learning activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum one year of teaching experience at the secondary level is required.
Experience in teaching Social Science in a school environment is preferred. Familiarity with the West Bengal Board syllabus and examination patterns will be an advantage.
