Job Description
NTT EVS Teacher Role in Bankura
Teach Environmental Studies (EVS) to students in classes where the subject is integrated into the curriculum. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s syllabus, focusing on hands-on activities, real-world examples, and interactive discussions. Ensure students grasp key concepts like sustainability, biodiversity, and basic environmental science through practical experiments and field visits.
Work closely with the EVS coordinator to implement school-wide environmental initiatives, such as waste management programs or tree-planting drives. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate EVS themes into cross-subject learning, ensuring a cohesive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver EVS lessons that meet the syllabus requirements, using age-appropriate methods to engage students effectively.
Assist in organizing field trips and outdoor learning experiences to reinforce classroom lessons.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in EVS-related activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline as the minimum qualification.
Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree for formal teaching in schools.
Experience in teaching EVS or environmental education is preferred but not mandatory.

This is a full-time position based in Bankura I, Bankura, West Bengal.
The monthly salary ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
