Responsibilities
Teach Art and Craft subjects to students in the primary section, designing age-appropriate lessons that blend creativity with educational value. Prepare and implement practical projects, experiments, and workshops to enhance students’ artistic abilities. Collaborate with the art faculty and school management to align teaching methods with curriculum guidelines and student needs. Maintain a safe and stimulating art studio environment, ensuring tools and materials are well-organized and accessible. Attend regular school meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching practices and educational trends in art education.
Requirements
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as the minimum qualification for teaching roles. Possess a graduate degree in any discipline. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this position, having a teaching certification would be an advantage. Experience in teaching Art and Craft to children is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrate a passion for creative arts, problem-solving, and engaging students through hands-on activities. Ability to work collaboratively with peers and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles is essential.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
