Teaching Approach
Lessons blend theory sessions on sports science with hands-on drills in football, cricket, athletics, and yoga. Practical assessments include fitness tests, skill drills, and inter-house competitions. Classroom discussions cover rules, safety protocols, and career pathways in sports science.
Day-To-Day Duties
Organize daily sports periods for four batches covering athletics, team games, and fitness training.
Plan and conduct inter-house tournaments in football, cricket, and kho-kho every term.
Assess student fitness levels using standard tests like BMI, endurance runs, and flexibility drills.
Maintain inventory of sports equipment and ensure timely repair of gear at Narayana E-techno School.
Coordinate with coaches for external sports events and manage student participation.
Prepare monthly lesson plans aligned with CBSE Physical Education curriculum.
Document student progress in skill development and health parameters.
Arrange yoga and meditation sessions for stress relief during exam periods.
Required Qualifications
Post Graduate degree in Physical Education from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with specialization in Physical Education.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in secondary or senior secondary schools.
