About This Role
We are hiring a PRT Dance Teacher to join Narayana E-techno School, Coochbehar in Cooch Behar I, Cooch Behar, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching dance to students from Class 1 to Class 12. The school aims to provide high-quality dance education to its students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels
- Prepare lesson plans and assessments in line with the school's curriculum
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor students' progress
- Develop and implement extracurricular dance activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and organize school events
- Maintain a safe and organized dance classroom environment
- Communicate with parents through regular progress reports
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making
- Develop and implement dance-themed activities to promote school spirit
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Strong understanding of dance concepts and techniques
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in teaching dance to students of different age groups
- Familiarity with local dance traditions and culture
