Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Art And Craft program at Narayana School Siliguri. The role will involve planning, organizing, and implementing art and craft activities for students, as well as supervising and guiding the Art And Craft staff.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and implement the Art And Craft curriculum for students
- Develop and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students
- Manage and supervise the Art And Craft staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring their performance
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of Art And Craft activities with other subjects
- Develop and maintain a budget for Art And Craft materials and resources
- Plan and conduct workshops and demonstrations for students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate Art And Craft concepts with other subjects
- Maintain records of student progress and achievements in Art And Craft
- Participate in school events and functions to promote Art And Craft activities
- Develop and maintain a strong network with art and craft professionals and organizations to stay updated on best practices and trends
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or in a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff
- Knowledge of art and craft techniques and materials
- Familiarity with school administration and management
