Role Summary
We are looking for a Dance Director to lead the dance department at Narayana School Siliguri in Kurseong, Darjeeling, West Bengal. As a Dance Director, you will be responsible for promoting and developing the dance program at Narayana School Siliguri.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Manage the overall dance program, including dance performances, workshops, and events.
2. Develop and implement dance curriculum and lesson plans for dance students.
3. Recruit, train, and supervise dance staff and instructors.
4. Oversee dance performances and events, including logistics, stage management, and marketing.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with dance institutions, schools, and community partners.
6. Manage dance department budget and expenses.
7. Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
8. Collaborate with school administration to integrate dance program with other school activities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in dance or a related field, such as B.F.A. or M.F.A. in dance. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in dance administration, leadership, or management. A background in dance education or experience working with children is also preferred.
