Role Introduction

Daily Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily Business Studies lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess student work and provide timely feedback to foster learning.
- Maintain accurate attendance and class records.
- Prepare lesson materials and update classroom resources.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
- Coordinate with senior teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects.
- Conduct formative assessments and report student progress to parents.
- Participate in faculty meetings to discuss academic strategies.
- Update the school’s online portal with grades and remarks.
Periodic Responsibilities
- Organize termly business case competitions and school fairs.
- Contribute to the annual school magazine with Business Studies articles.
- Lead extracurricular clubs such as the Business Club or Debate Society.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Business Studies or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Salary and Location
Competitive salary of Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month. Position located in Matigara, Darjeeling, West Bengal, within the Sacred Heart School | Siliguri campus.
