As a PGT Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Economics to students of varying abilities, creating engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and deliver lesson plans for Economics, adhering to the CBSE curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct regular unit tests, terminal exams, and board exams.
- Organize and participate in co-curricular activities related to Economics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies.
- Attend meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, particularly those with academic difficulties.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET certification is preferred, but not mandatory for freshers.
- Candidates appearing for TET can also apply.
- Strong understanding of Economics and the ability to convey complex concepts in an engaging manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
