Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging EVS lessons in line with the state curriculum for classes I‑V.
2. Conduct practical activities, field trips and projects that relate to the local Darjeeling environment.
3. Assess student performance through worksheets, quizzes and oral presentations, and maintain accurate records.
4. Prepare learning materials and visual aids that reflect the cultural context of Darjeeling.
5. Coordinate with senior teachers to integrate EVS concepts across other subjects.
6. Organize classroom displays and environmental awareness campaigns within the school.
7. Provide remedial support to students who need additional help in EVS concepts.
8. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress in EVS.
9. Attend school development programs and contribute ideas for improving EVS teaching methods.
