About This Role
As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young students in Social Science at Narayana School Siliguri. With a strong foundation in Social Science, you will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, teaching a variety of topics, and assessing student progress. Your expertise will help students develop a deeper understanding of the subject and its relevance to everyday life.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Social Science classes
- Teach a range of Social Science topics to students of different age groups
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and teaching resources
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Social Science or a related field. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. With a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, you will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is Rs.18,000 - Rs.32,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include:
