About This Role
As a Tgt Headmistress, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Reporting directly to the Principal, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and organizational aspects of the school, ensuring that our students receive a world-class education in a supportive and nurturing environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school administration team
- Oversee the daily operations of the school, including student admissions, fee collection, and employee management
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to enhance student learning and school performance
- Collaborate with teachers, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth school operations
- Manage the school's financial resources, including budgeting, expenditure, and resource allocation
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the school community
- Represent the school at local, regional, and national educational forums, as required
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents, alumni, and the wider community
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to teachers and staff to enhance their professional development
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a postgraduate degree (such as B.Ed or a related field) and at least 10 years of experience in educational leadership and administration. A strong track record of success in school administration, staff management, and community engagement is essential. Experience in a similar role at a school in the Darjeeling region is highly desirable.
