We are seeking an experienced TGT Bengali teacher to join the Narayana School Siliguri family in Kurseong, Darjeeling, West Bengal. Narayana School Siliguri is a well-established school in the region, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to teach Bengali at the secondary level.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a TGT Bengali teacher, you will be expected to use a variety of pedagogical methods to engage students in the Bengali language and literature. You may use tools such as multimedia presentations, interactive worksheets, and group discussions to make the learning experience enjoyable and effective.
What You Will Do
- Teach Bengali language and literature to students from Class VI to X.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Participate in school events and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Supervise students during school hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have a post-graduate degree in Bengali (M.A. Bengali) and a B.Ed. qualification. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not required. You must also have at least 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
