About This Role
What You Will Do
- Teach Biology to students in grades 6 to 10, following the prescribed curriculum and syllabus.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the needs of different learners.
- Assess student progress through regular tests, quizzes, and evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum and instructional programs.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and activities that promote academic excellence and student well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of Biology and its application in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in teaching Biology to students in grades 6 to 10.
