Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled TGT English Teacher to join our team at Narayana School Darjeeling. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from Class V to Class X.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for English subjects
- Teach English language and literature to students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Develop and implement creative teaching methods to engage students
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and training programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum
- Provide guidance and support to students outside of regular class hours
- Contribute to the overall development of the school
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-Graduate degree in English or related field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- At least 4 years of teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
