Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
Design weekly lesson plans aligned with the ICSE/ISC syllabus and school academic calendar.
Conduct daily English classes using audio-visual aids, group discussions, and grammar drills.
Prepare students for quarterly assessments, literature circles, and inter-house elocution contests.
Mark notebooks and test papers with clear, legible comments and return them within two working days.
Organize library reading sessions and maintain a class library of 50+ graded readers.
Collaborate with subject heads to update unit plans and share sample question papers.
Attend morning assemblies and contribute to school-wide cultural events twice a term.
Guide two students as class teachers, handling attendance, discipline, and progress notes.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in English with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential.
Minimum 5 years of teaching English to secondary classes in ICSE/ISC or state boards.
Familiarity with ICSE/ISC literature and language curriculum preferred.
Experience in coaching elocution or creative writing adds value.
Salary and Benefits
