Narayana School Darjeeling requires a Geography Teacher for its Darjeeling Pulbazar campus, catering to students from various socio-economic backgrounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography to classes 6-10.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver Geography classes to students, ensuring engaging and interactive sessions.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluate student progress to adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Develop and implement Geography-related projects and activities to foster student curiosity and interest.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement comprehensive Geography curricula.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives, such as extracurricular activities and special events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in school evaluations and inspections, as required.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be post-graduate in Geography or a related field (M.Sc., M.A.) from a recognized university. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience as a TGT is required, with a strong background in Geography education. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid D.El.Ed or B.Ed certification. Experience with TET/CTET is not essential but desirable.
