Job Overview
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Physical Education lessons to students from classes VI to X.
2. Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes physical fitness and well-being.
3. Organize and supervise physical activities, games, and sports events.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
5. Maintain discipline and safety in the Physical Education classroom and playground.
6. Develop and implement a system of rewards and recognition for students who participate in physical activities.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Physical Education with other subjects.
8. Develop and maintain a safe and clean Physical Education environment.
9. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field (M.Sc, M.P.Ed, or M.Phil).
- A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching Physical Education in a school setting.
Good to Have:
- Experience in coaching sports and games.
- Knowledge of Indian sports and games.
- Fluency in Bengali and Hindi languages.
