About This Role
We seek a dedicated and experienced TGT Physics Teacher to join our faculty at Narayana School Siliguri in Kurseong, Darjeeling, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to students from Class VI to Class XII, preparing them for Physics Teacher Recruitment in West Bengal. As a TGT Physics Teacher, you will be expected to deliver engaging and interactive lessons, making Physics an enjoyable subject for our students.
How You Will Teach
You will use practical methods, such as hands-on experiments, group discussions, and multimedia presentations, to teach Physics to our students. You will also use the school's laboratory facilities to conduct experiments and demonstrations, making Physics a tangible and accessible subject for our students. Your teaching approach will be student-centered, focusing on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver lessons on Physics to students from Class VI to Class XII, as per the school's curriculum and syllabus.
2. Prepare and administer Physics tests and exams, assessing students' understanding of the subject.
3. Conduct experiments and demonstrations in the school laboratory, using various equipment and tools.
4. Use multimedia presentations, videos, and other visual aids to engage students and make Physics more interesting.
5. Develop and implement projects that integrate Physics with other subjects, such as Mathematics and Science.
6. Provide individualized attention to students who require additional support or guidance.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in Physics or a related field, preferably with a specialization in Physics Education. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required. Experience as a TGT Physics Teacher in a school setting is essential, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred.
