St Roberts High School in Darjeeling Pulbazar is seeking a dedicated TGT Science Teacher to join its faculty. The role involves inspiring students with a passion for physics, chemistry, and biology while maintaining a strong academic and extracurricular focus in the scenic hilltown.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach core science subjects—physics, chemistry, and biology—across grades 9 to 12.
2. Design engaging lesson plans that align with CBSE curriculum standards.
3. Conduct experiments and practical sessions to enhance hands-on learning.
4. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation and prepare progress reports.
5. Collaborate with the science lab team to maintain equipment and safety protocols.
6. Participate in school events, including science fairs and inter-house competitions.
7. Guide students in research projects and encourage scientific inquiry.
8. Foster a supportive learning environment while adhering to discipline policies.
A postgraduate degree in Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Four years of relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
This position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000, along with a location in Darjeeling Pulbazar, West Bengal.
