Job Overview
Narayana School Siliguri invites ambitious B.Ed freshers to apply for the role of TGT Social Science Teacher at our School in Kurseong, Darjeeling. As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to classes 6-10.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to classes 6-10.
- Prepare and manage teaching materials, including texts, multimedia resources, and visual aids.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding of Social Science concepts.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide policies and initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.
- Support students in co-curricular activities, such as clubs and excursions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized University.
- D.El.Ed. or CTET/TET certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Social Science concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
