Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Social Science and B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. A minimum of four years teaching experience is required. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Social Science lessons to classes in the 5th to 10th grades, integrating local history and geography relevant to Naxalbari and the greater Darjeeling region.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools that align with state guidelines.
- Conduct regular classroom and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in school committees, parent‑teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities to foster a holistic learning environment.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and report cards in accordance with school policy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary teaching and school initiatives.
Salary & Location
The position offers a competitive salary range of Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month. The role is based at Ranidanga Darjeeting Public School | Darjeeling, located in Naxalbari, Darjeeling, West Bengal.
