Narayana School, Bally, is seeking a dynamic and passionate NTT Mathematics Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the mathematical minds of our students. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from Class VI to X, fostering a love for the subject, and helping them develop problem-solving skills.
How You Will Teach
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will use practical methods, tools, and activities to engage students in the learning process. You will design and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles, making Mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all students. You will also use visual aids, real-life examples, and technology to illustrate mathematical concepts, making them relevant and meaningful to students.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement lesson plans for Mathematics classes, aligned with the West Bengal Board curriculum.
- Teach Mathematics to students from Class VI to X, using various teaching strategies and techniques.
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Use various teaching resources, such as textbooks, worksheets, and online materials, to supplement instruction.
- Conduct regular homework and assignments to reinforce learning.
- Use educational technology, such as math software and online tools, to enhance teaching and learning.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, such as Mathematics Olympiads and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop Mathematics curriculum and instructional materials.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress to parents.
Eligibility Criteria
- A graduate degree in Mathematics or a related subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
