About This Role
We are looking for an experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team at Narayana School, Bally. The ideal candidate should possess excellent teaching skills, a deep understanding of Chemistry, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans. As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Classes XI to XII and guiding them to excel in their board exams.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to students from Classes XI to XII
- Develop and implement curriculum-based lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Provide individualized attention and support to students who require extra help
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
- Supervise students during laboratory experiments and practical sessions
- Prepare and administer Chemistry-related tests and exams
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong understanding of Chemistry curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
