Role Summary
We seek an experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join Radhika Town High School in Hooghly, West Bengal. As a senior teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students from Class 11 to Class 12, and will also contribute to the school's curriculum development and board exam coaching initiatives.
What You Will Do
Teach Chemistry to students from Class 11 to Class 12, following the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) curriculum and preparing them for the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE).
Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes and engagement.
Conduct board exam coaching sessions to help students prepare for the Chemistry paper.
Lead the Chemistry department in curriculum leadership and planning.
Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement integrated teaching plans.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
Participate in school events and functions, including science fairs and educational workshops.
Develop and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the PGT Chemistry Teacher position at Radhika Town High School, you should possess a post-graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc) from a recognized university, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a reputable school.
