PGT History Teacher Position at Don Bosco School, Bandel
Don Bosco School in Bandel invites applications for the role of PGT History Teacher to join the faculty in Chinsurah Magra, Hooghly. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000, providing an opportunity to shape young minds with a deep understanding of historical events and their significance.
The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging history lessons across Class 11 and 12, ensuring alignment with the curriculum while fostering critical thinking. You’ll also prepare students for board examinations, including CBSE and West Bengal Board syllabi, while maintaining a structured and inclusive classroom environment. Collaboration with the history department and cross-subject coordination will be essential, especially in integrating historical themes into interdisciplinary projects.
A postgraduate degree in History with a specialization in Indian or world history is mandatory. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching at this level. At least two years of relevant teaching experience in history or a related subject will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
