Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Teaching Zoology to students in classes VI-XII, using a variety of pedagogical approaches to cater to different learning styles
* Developing and implementing curriculum-aligned lesson plans, incorporating practical exercises and lab activities
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to improve academic performance
* Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
* Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives
* Supervising and guiding students during lab and practical sessions
* Conducting field trips and excursions to foster hands-on learning experiences
* Developing and updating teaching resources and materials to support student learning
* Providing support and guidance to students with special needs

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

* A postgraduate degree in Zoology (M.Sc.) or a related field
* A Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field
* Preference will be given to candidates with a valid TET/CTET certificate
* A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students
