S M Memorial School | Chanditala seeks a dedicated PRT Sanskrit Teacher to join our Chanditala Ii campus. The role involves teaching Sanskrit to students, fostering a love for classical literature, and contributing to the school’s academic excellence.
Role
As a PRT Sanskrit Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons to students from grades 6 to 10, prepare teaching materials, and assess student progress. You will collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Sanskrit into interdisciplinary projects and participate in school events that promote cultural heritage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily Sanskrit classes, ensuring curriculum standards are met.
- Design lesson plans that blend traditional texts with modern teaching methods.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and oral exams.
- Mentor students in Sanskrit literature, grammar, and composition.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Sanskrit debates and cultural festivals.
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records in line with school policies.
Requirements
- Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Sanskrit in a school setting.
- Strong command of Sanskrit grammar, literature, and teaching techniques.
- Ability to inspire students and foster a respectful learning environment.
- Familiarity with local educational standards in West Bengal and experience teaching in Chanditala Ii schools is an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range: Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
