About This Role
Narayana School, Bally, is seeking a qualified PRT Science Teacher to join our team of experienced educators in Hooghly, West Bengal. As a PRT Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to students from Class 6 to 10.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Science lessons to students
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to facilitate learning
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Develop and implement Science projects and activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development
- Maintain accurate student records and attendance
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- TET or CTET certification (desirable)
Good to Have
- Post-graduate degree in Science (M.Sc.) or related field
- UGC-NET or CSIR-NET certification (desirable)
- Experience in teaching Science to students in Class 6 to 10
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology for teaching
Salary and Benefits
