About This Role
Narayana School, Bally, is looking for an experienced and passionate TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty in Hooghly, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from Class 6 to Class 10.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students.
- Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials.
- Utilize technology to enhance student learning experiences.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making.
- Supervise students during computer lab sessions and ensure their safety.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science education.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized university.
- 5 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Proficiency in teaching Computer Science to students from Class 6 to Class 10.
Good to Have
- CTET/NET qualification.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Familiarity with digital tools and software for teaching Computer Science.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
Salary and Benefits
